battery life?
battery life? I bought a battery this past september from autozone and haven't used it yet cause my motor needed a rebuild. so how long is my battery going to be good for? it might be okay years before i get my motor built and all the parts i want.
As long as it isn't hooked up, it doesn't have anything to drain on it so it should last a while. However, it will probably run down some just sitting. As long as you just let it run down and don't charge until you are ready for it, I'd say it'd be fine for quite some time. How long? Well that I don't know, but I'm just passing along my experience with them.

A battery uses a chemical reaction to store and produce energy, If it is left discharging or overcharged you will hamper future chemical reactions within the battery. You should get a smart charger that will keep the battery charged but not overcharge it to store it long term.
