Guideplate Question

Hello All: I justed recieved my GMPP guideplates for my cam install and I had a question. A couple of them have some discoloration on them. It almost looks rustic. I was wondering if any of you have encountered this? Should I call the company and have them send new ones or they they ok? They are hardened with the "5" and "down" stamped on them. Thanks, Aaron

Well if it's supposed to be a brand new part then yeah I would call and complain. You don't gotta settle for that crap.

Well, the guid plates need to be centered, or else they will wear out the pushrod, and yea, it might discolor. Give them a call for more info.
