Air Preasure ?'s Please don't flame me too bad for these questions. I'm just trying to get an average starting point of what PSI to start at and then I'll go up or down from there. Last time at the track I had 32 psi in my front 245/50/16 tires and 20 PSI in my MT/DR. My car weighs 3810 with me in it. During my burnouts I couldn't keep the MT's spinning after a couple seconds, she just hooked up. Many other people were spinning thier MT's far more than I could. I'm thinking it was because I had not enough air in them and this could be slowing me down. Now I realize hooking is a good thing, but my MPH was only 97.6 w an ET of 13.27. I think I could still hook at a higher PSI and that should bring my speed up, right? If I get eliminated in the first round again, I will only have three runs to figure this out. Next time out I'm going to try 35 PSI in fronts and 24 PSI in my MT's. Do you think this would be a good starting point for a car with my wieght?
