whats the diff ...Lt1 block/straight 350 block

what is the diff between a lt1 block and just a plain old jane 350 block....will the lt1 heads/intake/cam/ work with it...or what.....im just wondering....i got plenty of 4 bolt 350s laying around in my shop....

I herd you can modify a LT1 topend and make it work, but it is not worth it is what i hear.

The only reason to run the whole setup, would be A) you had it as extra B) you wanted to run the LT1 intake. I assume they'd make older school heads with Vortec bolt pattern.

Even then, I still think it needs mods.
