Default First time at the track!!

it was so fun. i went to the high school nationals at Norwalk. times went superb, but i have tons of fun. best et was a 14.61 at 95.5 but i got a mph high of 97.57. i was never a big fan of drag racing but this changed my mined. im def gonna go more often.
the times aren't bad for a bone stock and i mean bone stock a4 car?( all it has is a flowmaster [got it for cheap] because it need a muffler and i want to go true duals and headers.)

my car is pretty slow at the strip, but from 35 up it is pretty quick(stock stall 2.73 car)
i might grab a set of tires for my stock rims(some drag radials or something).
i dont really wanna stall it or put 4.10s in it because it will be my daily driver and i am 16 and my parents wont pay for my gas so i gotta keep my mpg in mind.

i drove 115 miles after i put in 7 gal in the tank and i t says i still have about a quarter tank left even with passes and running it hard to and from the track.

I'd say tires CAI and LT's and leave it alone until you can afford to really mod. Go to the track and learn as much as possible but do not hurry yourself. Mods are exspenive and the faster you go the worse the tab gets.
