QTP cut out installed

Hey guys, I got my electric cut out Installed today, and its the coolest thing I've done to my car. I thought My car was loud with the PS lt's, Ory and magnaflow catback until today now it seems very quiet which sucks but oh well. I've got one question the cutout takes approx 5 seconds to open, do you guys just count the 5 seconds or what? Thaats what Im doing right now and am worried that if I hold the toggle switch to long while the blade is fully open will it hurt the electric motor.

Any help would be great thanks guys.

Get into the habit of counting to five everytime. I messed up on mine and held it open too long, now it doesnt shut all the way.

mine doesnt open/shut all the way.. u cant hurt them from holding it they have a thermal thing installed i though i emailed QTP they said its something lose on it..
