3.73 swap

3.73 swap I just picked up a very nice 95 formula this past weekend, only disapointment is that it's a A4 with a 2.73 rear.
I have plans for 3.73's very soon, The car is going to be my dd and i plan to use a handheld tuner or possibly get it tuned
will i have any probs with the trans shifting into OD

ya my old car had factory 3.23 and now going down to 2.73 its a big notice, so i think 3.73 will help out big
I guess getting the car tuned will sort all the shifting/speedo out

You will like them very much. You will have to get the thick gears for the 2-series carrier. Under no circumstances use a 3-series with a spacer. Big mistake. You will have to program your PCM so it will know when to shift and so your speedo will be correct.
I like my Strange, Motive also makes them.

I had the 3.42 and liked them but with my new job I drive 50 miles daily and the 2.73 are ok in performance but they do great on mpg.
if i had to switch I would go with the 3.73
