wierd car issue
wierd car issue I talked this morning to performabuilt and they said that it probably isnt a tranny issue.

If i start from a stop with the car in first and manually shift it the car runs fine.
If i shift it into first from a roll the car breaks up badly in the upper end. it surges and bucks. does this sound like a misfire and if so why only when i shift the car.

Mine was the opposite, If I let it shift itself the car was fine...but if I put it in first and shifted manually the car would backfire badly and break up. So I changed the coil and had no further problems.
well thats exactly what mines doing so i will
try that
to clarify if I manually shift starting from first every things good.If i go from 2 into first then it breaks up. If i let the car shift no problem
