Don't worry, you're not special. If anyone said that I would have replied the same.

It's a 1 of 100 car....

They used to sell LT4 crate motors for a couple years, they stopped it about 7 or 8 years ago

I don't know if Mattybz28 is out to get you or anything , but I agree with him. It would completely destroy the value of that car if you did mod it. Isn't rarity the reason of having it? That's what all the other z28s on the side of the road are for.

Oh you mean before Barret Jackson?

I'm a firm believer that cars were meant to be driven. Anybody that spends over 100k on a car at that damn auction, only to never drive it again is retarded.
I don't think I've ever sat in a car yet either that I said, Hey I could leave this one stock.........

oh yeah edit: I suppose you are talking about other times the guy has argued with you?

I just post what I think. There's no vendetta... I'm a smart *** to everyone.

The only thread with you that I can think of was when you said you were taking out the loan and maybe it's just me but I don't get loaning money to mod a car... I enjoy like hell modding my car but if I can't pay cash to do it, I don't. But more power to ya, I'd love to have the disposable income like you.

Very nice car.
Didn't run no 12.9 stock in the 1/4 mile though..I can see low 13's..
They put down around 300 RWHP. 12.9s DEFINATELY possible stock.

I've seen a stock LT4 vette go 12.85 @113. GMHT went 13.0 at 110 in thier LT4 SS back in the day. It could see 12.90's on the right day, but probably not consistently.

Yea, one of those "spurt" runs..

I got to get my Dad to take his out to the track..
He has a beautiful 1996 Corvette Collectors Edition LT4 M6. It's Seabring Silver, Black Leather Interior, Convertible. It's 1 of 400 made.

I guess you could consider it "disposable income..".. I just consider it as I need an Engine for the Car just to make it run..

I have ridden in one of these LT4 SS's. It was very stout and felt stronger than an LS1 to me. The eal nice thing is it makes power to over 6K RPM when the LT1 starts to fizzle out around 5.6K.

I honestly dont know if I would mod one, I would drive it, but I might just do mods that wouldnt be visible, like intake and head porting, and a cam, maybe hone the manifolds, minor stuff, but who knows. I might just slap on abunch of stuff and rag on it, but keep the original stuff in a box somewhere so if I did want to sell it later the value would still be there.
