throttle body plates going to make my own and wanted to know if the bottom of the plate can be flat or does it have to have all the passages of the stock one. thanks

Ahh the name plate, gotcha. Wish I still had the one hanging on the wall. My TPI's was pretty much just flat aside from something sticking out, I think it was a centering pin of sorts. I would assume flat would be alright, unless the LT1 is different underneath.
