Default Rear End Traction Control question.

Can any one explain to me what traction control exactly does? Which cars came with it and which didn't? What's better WITH traction control or WITHOUT?

traction control is a pain in the *** IMO. i wish my car didnt have it. what it does is when its on, and senses traction loss it kicks the gas pedal back out so the tires stop spinning and gets grip of the road. IMO better WITHOUT

The ABS exciter rings in the rear end sense slippage, tire spin, and the previous poster stated it pushes the gas pedal back to you and you feel the car shutter.

When I 1st got my LS1, I left it on since the tires were worn and the pavement was cold. Now I turn it off, I like it with out it, but if somone drove the car, I'd have them leave it on, so they couldnt wreck it.

yes there is a switch that will turn it off that has ASR writin on it, which stands for Acceleration Slip Regulation. if you dont have that switch ur car didnt come with traction control.
