CC306 question
CC306 question Got my car back together last night with the 306 primed the oil pump got pressure. Went to start the car it turned over for a little and fired up but it wont idle. My question is will the car even idle with the stock tune and the 306?
It should mine did, but it would take a while to find idle. I drove mine for 500 miles on the stock tune and then had it dyno tuned.
Edit: Have you double checked all of your plugs and wires to make sure everything is hooked up correctly? And how is your opti?

Mine would take at the max a couple of minutes. Reason I asked if everything was hooked up is because when I installed my headers (stock engine at the time) when I went to start it up, it would only fire a few times and die. Reason being I had the Taylor OTV wires and I hadn't done a good enough job on the optispark ends, so had to recrimp them and it fired right up.

I couldn't get mine to run on the stock tune, with the cc306 cam. I had to get a mail order tune, just to get the car home about 100miles from where I lived...once I put it in, it was good enough to get me home...
It should idle but ive seen were some computers take a little more time to find its idle then others. Let me know if you still cant getit to idle by it self and I'll send a free base tune to you.
