Cat back or muffler?
Cat back or muffler? I'm planning on redoing my exhaust, putting in headers and a ORY, ill put a cat so i can pass emissions and so im not as loud. My question is would it make more sense to go with a catback or muffler? And if so, what kind. I'm looking for something that is close to stock in terms of noise, but louder when you get on it.

ok but why not the gmmg well all i can say is just look into the exhaust setup and see which one will fit wit ur setup lol but i dnt think it will interfere wit anything. but go wit what u wont just dont get no blowmaster.
I have the Hooker Aerochamber muffler only on otherwise a stock car minus CAI. It was around the stock noise range when I first got it, but since then it has opened up. It sounds good at idle from behind not much interior noise, just enough for you to hear the rumble 
. It sounds like an Animal at 4000 under load though

If you want to run a catback with a cat, just have a muffler shop fab it up so that the cat is right after your y-pipe. They will cut the I-pipe in the catback shorter and get everything to fit.

Whats the point in spending the other $240 for them just to cut half of it off anyway? Might as well just get the muffler. They already price quoted me at $80 if I bring everything i need welded (minus the extra 3" pipe).
