quick question for LT1 firebird owners..

I'm looking at getting some new seats 98-02 for the bird but one of the headrests might be bad (they are leather so are my 94's) I'v never been able to pull my 94's headrests off or are they pretty much on there?? I know the 96 i had they came off

I don't know if the 4th gens are the same, but my 3rd gen seats you had to slide a thin metal strip down in front of the headrest to uhhook it, then slide both the headrest and metal up together.

Yeah, I used that method with my 3rd gen headrests(actually used a straightened paperclip), but I can't figure out how to get my 94 headrests out of the seat, either.
