backfiring FIXED Hi Folks
I have been having a problem with the car not running good at cold and then once it warmed up had problem with it backfiring when the throttle open a little - under load was OK. The problem was the water pump leaking on the Opti-spark causing the unit to screw up. How I found out, last night I pulled away from a light - 1st gear not to hard but went into 2nd nailed it - hit 5500 RPMs and bang - one hell of a backfire. Car would not run anymore. Replacing Water pump and Opti-spark - oh well
