!EGR ! AIR??? help..

both the pipe and EGR valve ports can be blocked off with plates. GM p/n 10054880 (known as the LT4 block-off plate) can be used to block off the ports where the EGR valve is removed

yea tehy are pretty easy to make as it was said when it is of the car its a load easier. I jsut figured if i paid 5$ for a sheet of metal from Lowes and then I would have to measure and cut it and all taht junk....instead i jsut spend the extra few bucks to have a quality peice sent to me.
DONT FORGET TO PUT GASKET SEALANT ON IT. Ive read some people forgetting this and then comming up with issues later on

Do you have to remove the EGR from the intake if you eliminate it from the exhaust manifolds?
I removed the AIR pump today and blocked off the drv side EGR. I didn't remove it from the head, just corked it. I need to get the brass fittings that were mentioned to really do it right. Anyone have the thread size for those again? :\
EDIT: Drove it once after I did the above, it seems to idle MUCH better now.
