yeah, got the heat soaking issues solved with a 160 stat, and manual fan switch, car went out the next weekend and ran two 13.77s back to back, and a 13.80 with a headwind a while later. got rained out that night, so drove a few hours away, and the car was within a 13.91 - 14.04 the entire day, thru 4 Time Trails, 6 rounds of brackets, and a never ending Hobbs, NM humid heat. very happy with it!

Cool, sounds like it's running good.
It seems like it got slower from what is in your sig, and seems slower then what's listed for the mods..

the 13.44 was run in much cooler weather, around 3300 DA at a track that has 3200 ft of elavation (Lubbock Dragway). Now that its summer, we are getting average DAs of 5000'. The 13.91 - 14.04 range was ran in Hobbs, NM which has an even higher elavation than we do, and I'm sure the DA was nearing the 6000 range that day.

Car runs great for what it is, just not in this elavation. I plan to go to Houston sometime this yr for some negative DA passes and see if she will dip into the low 13s high 12s NA, stock internal, stock converter. If not, I'll just throw a verter in it, and call it a day, lol.

I dunno 13.44 seems fairly fast to me for only Full Exhuast, Full Induction, and Weight reduction. Not to mention the almost 120 mph trap speed on the gas. Most stock LT1 cars here will run 14.50s on a good day. LS1 cars with bolt-ons are usually in the 13.2 - 13.50 range with a good tire under the car. My car is far from slow, and actually may be one of the fastest LT1s in Lubbock, including a few weaksauce heads/cam cars. (me on the spray of course). We are just doomed to have slow ETs due to our elavation/DAs.
