popping from intake?

popping from intake? it happens when your at idel and give it gas kinda quick it pop from intake you can see the intake elbow expand alittle when it happens
it only happen 3 times in the past years and only when your at idel and give it gas quick.
other then that it runs strong and no problems.

a backfire thru the intake?theyre usually not good lol. i had something similar happen to my LS1, and it was idling like it had a cam in it- turned out to be a broken valvespring.
Occasional backfire through the intake isn't that bad. Just means you had a quick spike of a lean mixture. It has happened to me a few times when I popped the throttle messing around. If it does it a lot, then I would be concerned.
i have the same exact thing happening in my 94. Spent quite a bit of time trying to figure it out and never could. Car runs awsome only does it when you blip the throttle at low rpms.
My buddy just bought a 97 and his low end seems stronger and smoother than mine so i have to fix mine now. If you figure it please let us know.
