I need some help. I may sound dumb but, I need some help installing O2's. I know you screw them in and wrap them in heat wrap, but I have no idea were to plug the o2 extension into. If someone can point it out and where its located, or some pictures or a link to some direction, that be awesome. Thanks

When you unplug the O2 on the car, you plug the extension into each side. The side that comes off the O2, and the side the O2 plugged into.


So if this is how it is when you go under the car:

=====[X]----[o2 sensor]OO

Then you unplug it

=====[X.......]----[o2 sensor]OO

And then insert your extension

=====[X]==========[X]----[o2 sensor]OO

A simple answer would of helped but you had to go straight to being a dick.

 

The o2 is threaded into the header. At the end of the o2 there is a connector. You unplug it and plug in the o2 extension from there so you have an... extension. Thread in the o2 sensor WITH ANTI SEIZE without plugging it in first so the wires can freely rotate and not bind up. Then plug in your o2 sensor and walla

 

What extension are you talking about? The wired extension or something else? If you can't figure out the wired extension, I really don't know what to tell you lol As said above, a monkey could figure it out, and I don't mean in years and years, but in about 5 minutes. And do what Ralls said with the Anti Seize, or you'll be pissed at yourself when you have to replace them next time and can't get them out.

No I have casper extensions. I just dont see where the end of the o2 plug into after I thread it into the header.

 

I found the passenger 02 but I still cannot find the drive side. I know its by the master cylinder but I dont know.

 

You have stock manifolds?? Not long tubes? I figured with heads and cam you would be past stock exhaust manifolds by now? I don't know if that's true but that's what I'm getting from you. And on top of that if it is true, why are you getting extensions? Fill me in please!

 

I have LTs. I was told I needed extensions. When I got the passenger o2 on I needed the extension. I just need to find the driver side.

 

If you have longtubes, then how can you not find both o2 sensor's? They are directly opposite of eachother. Plain as day. One on each header at the same spot.

 

ughh, I know where they hook up to on the header. I need to know where they connect to after that.

 

The driver side O2 plug is behind a small heat shield just off the back of the driver side head, right up against the firewall.
