You can tell just by looking at it. It causes more "restriction" to the flow of the exhaust by bending it twice more than the normal exhaust. Instead of making a 90 and then going straight out of the muffler, it goes 90, 90, 90 then out. Of course, I run open borla so I have a lot less restriction and not as much noise as a cutout.

That's a very good point, never thought about it but didn't really notice a difference in performance, I might be wrong though. The only differences I noticed beside "Turning heads" is when you drive with the t tops off you don't hear as much "noise" because it flows of the center, and the sound is really deeper than the straight pipes, it sounds better honestly but I don't know if it affected performance. However, you mentioned a very good point I have to check into it.

I don't think it hurts it that much. I think it looks really slick and if the annoying drone is less, then there's another plus.

Who ever did your tune must have really added some timing at idle. I couldnt even hear the cam especially being a 306.

I agree with you and I complained about it but didn't have anyone to ask to confirm my concern, now after ur comment I'm positive they added some timing, I wasn't satisfied at all. Thanks for the comment bro, I appreciate that, so what do you think I should do, I paid a lot to have all these things done man :"(

I think he was talking about his idle. IMO the way the car was idleing you would never know he'd have a cam.

Where does the car idle at? The tach isn't very acurate but good enough for a guestimate, are you over 1k at idle? 800-900 would probably get that cam sound to really come out... Any cc306 guys want to chime in?

My car is an auto with the CC306 and 1.6 rockers and I have my idle set to ~1000 on the stock tach (truely about 850-875 on the datamaster) and it sounds alot meaner than his car.

But thats a nice looking car man, I really wish I could have found that color, but the polo green has to be a close 2nd as far as the best colors on the LT1 cars IMHO

No, I mean both, just like your idle speed is adjustable so is your timing. Just an FYI that the more initial timing you add the lope starts to go away.

My tune was done by Ion and its about 29* advanced at ~875 RPMs and at my shift points of ~6500 RPMs its at 39*-40* advanced
