Question Opti Vent for LT1 Conversion (Photo)

First off, this LT1 is in an '86 Volvo 740 Wagon, see the link for details.

I added an MSD Optispark (8381, '94 LT1) and need to find a good place to pull clean air for the vent. The instructions say:

The problem is the Trick Flow elbow is flush with the throttle body, so I can't put the barb there, and I don't want to put a hole in the elbow (I may route the filter to the other side). I thought about the base of the filter, but there isn't enough room.

Is there a good place to tap into filtered air?

Thanks!

yep, drill into the elbow. or get a larger diameter air filter and put it in the base of the filter.

looks like a sweet setup.

I miss my buddy's turbo volvo. I can only imagine how fun SBC one is

I know it sucks, but +1 for drilling a new holes in the elbow. Just get a longer vacuum line then.
