Default Crank bobweight

What is the Bobweight of the lt1 crank?

How much of a driffrence is "safe" to spin to 7000rpm,what is the +\- offset on it?

Isinīt there a error in the bobweight on the crank for the piston-rod assembly weight because of the aluminium light weight pistons?

bobweights very from engine to engine, not every rod and piston weight the same, if you want to spin 7000 RPM you better have everything to with in +/- 1/2 gram if you want it to stay together.when we spun my assembly up we balanced it to with in 1/4 of a gram. the right way to balance is to balance the pistons, I have SRP pistons in mine and they were about 2 grams each off, we flycut under the piston to get them to with in a 1/4 gram, then you weight the big and small ends of the rods and make all those the same, all my manley rods were dead on, then you have a formula you add the piston and rod weights together + you add some for the oil weight, you even need to know your bearing clearance and how much oil will be in there, it take a lot of time to balance one right.

I know how to match and such but what is the LT1 crank stock bobweight?

Iīm spinning my stock bottom end to 7000rpm with no problems

I have read that the bobweight for the stock crank is a bit off,is that true and how much is it?
