Default Bought the headers

I bought Jet hot long tubes with the Jet hot Y.... I bought felpro gaskets, along with O2 extenders, and spark plug wires.

Here is my question, Has anyone ever had any issues when taking the manifold bolts out they sheer or bust off inside the head? or any other kind of issue like this? If you did please inform me on how you resolved the issue....I am very hands on and know alot about mechanics, but this is my first header install on an F-body and I am VERY nervous something will go horribly wrong

Well the best info I can give you is to heavily coat all the bolts that have anything to do with the exhaust in PB Blaster and let it sit for a few days b4 you attempt to take them out. Other than that I've heard of manifold bolts breaking off in the head, but I used the method I stated and had absolutely no issues except one of the cat bolts broke, but was already out anyway. Can you even get at the head if the bolt breaks off in it

Some people they break on and some they come right out i was pretty lucky mine came out really easy. Also if you plan to trash the stock manifolds try to cut the hat shield off them gives you a lot more room and makes it a little easier to get to the bolts. i did it and was able to do almost every bolt from the top except of few. the 2 middle ones on the driver side and the back 1 on the pass side.

Also If I take the steering linkage stuff loose will I loose my alighment? I have to do that it appears for the Jet hots
