hey guys i got a 94 Ta with 180k on the car. I dont know if the motor has ever been rebuit. Do you guys think thats to many mile to put NOS on it . I want to run a 100 shot but i am afraid i am going to blow the hell out of the motor and i really aint got the money for a new motor right now. What is the highest mile motor being sprayed?

Well, the way its been said is, You wanna play Ya gotta pay. If you dont have the money for a new motor (or work to the motor), dont spray it. A brand new crate motor might blow if you spray it. My friend has sprayed his TA with 154k on the clock, it popped on a drag night, he hit it with a 150 shot and kabloom. If you decide to spray it, just get all of the safety equipment and start saving for the problems that eventually DO come up. Its a risk, but boy is it fun.

yes well said. I learned the hard way. My car only has just over 80k on the clock. Put a 125 shot on her, ran my buddys LS1 Z28 and burnt #2 and #3 pistons. But at least I won! haha Now im in the process of rebuilding her. cant wait for it to be done. Miss driving it.

Get a set of TR6 plugs, a mallory 685 ignition box to retard timing, it also has a built in window switch, get a fuel pressure safety switch, a Walbro 255 pump, and a good wet kit and spray it! With that many miles, I would def. do a compression check first though. Whats your oil pressure look like at idle when warm and at WOT? I am spraying a 150 on my stock 140k mile motor with all the above things I listed.
