Can you use the stock leangth PRs with the LS7 lifters. I found a set for $129.00 and want to make sure before i buy. I really need a set of lifters, so the more i know the better. Thanks

Show me a link! I might wanna get a set of those for my LS turbo car. I bought some GM replacements but I think LS7 lifters would be cheap insurance.

Long post on CZ28.com about them, at a 100 or so a set, their almost if not half the cost of a OE replacment lifter from Comp.

Seems like last time I looked (about 6 months ago) they were quite a bit higher. I paid almost $100 for the regular GM replacements.

I am 99.9% sure they are the same. If all else fails, I'll buy the LS7 lifters from you if they aren't what you want.

thats pretty crazy that ls series lifters work in our cars. Now we have "parts touched by god" in our motors, lol. Whats the differance between LS7 and LS1 liftes? My buddy has ls1 lifters with like 30,000 miles on um i can get for nothing. Figure they gotta be better then mine with 100+ miles on um. Whats all the differances???????

I think they're supposed to be more stable at higher RPM's. Come to think of it, I might have been thinking about the Cadillac racing lifters. I may have a box of LS7's after all. I'll need to check PN's though.

The lifters would be cheap insurance. Besides you should always check for correct pushrod length when you change cam or valvetrain parts

OWNED! Off our site you would have saved about $10 after shipping!

The "LS7" lifters are a standard replacement now for the Gen3 and Gen4 motors...they will work perfectly to replace the Comp OE lifters in case anyone was wondering! The "Caddy Race Lifters" have reduced mass internals and slightly better oiling which make for more valvetrain stability at higher RPM's (also less noise).

I checked my PN's and I was correct (correct that I was wrong--if that makes any sense). I was thinking about the Caddy lifters, I already own a full set of the LS7 lifters!
