Default 2.5 tenths slower

my car ran 2.5 tenths slower after adding 2400,1 chambers, and 8.5mm wires. the mph is down 3 mph too. All these is just in the 1/8. Wats going on any ideas. I dont have a lt4 knock module and the car is extremely loud. Could this be it. There r a slight miss but not much. Please any ideas. Car is a 94 Ta A4 Lt's,CAI,foil,pulleys,3.73's,2400 stall,1 chambers. the 60 ft are about the same 2.02 vs. 2.06

Wires touching the headers at all? If they are touching and arching they are toast. Gotta get heat sleeves for wires. How long were you running the headers if you were not having any problems after install the KM should not be the problem...how loud did the car increase with 1 chambers? Where are the mufflers located? If they are in stock location again...should not effect the stock KM.

You would think the 60' would be lower..
I think it could be something with the Stall...

Wires arcing can slow you way down. I had this problem for a while. Get some heat shields and cable ties and get under the car. Anywhere the wires are touching or are very close to the headers can cause arcing and power loss. Good luck and try to have some patience, this one can be a real pain!

i just got off work and jacked my car up to see if any wires were touching the headers and none are. None are burt or even look black. When i was looking last night it look like it was coming from the front of the motor. Around the coil or even maybe the opti. Can either of them arch if going bad. P.s. the cars really not missing that much just a little bit when u put it in neutral an hold it steady. nothing when going down the road. Can not having the lt4 knock module slow my car down that much.

LT4 KM is over rated IMO. I still have the LT1KM and I run open headers with alot of advance, roller rockers, everything that people says makes noise, and I get no knock.

I think people that have false knock have real knock they can't find.

Oh I'm solid mounted as well.
