Engine Shakes @ Idle?

Default Engine Shakes @ Idle?

Well I started the car other day and I was like wait a minute.. the engine shakes every 3-4 seconds.. exhaust note is normal lope.. sometimes the car has a 4k-6k miss (off and on)

MSD Coil, MSD Wires, MSD Opti, NGK TR55's

this might be a stupid answer...but check your motormounts...one could be broken or loose.

wouldnt the whole car shake when driving?? interior doesnt shake now when the hoods popped ya it moves but like i said no steeringwheel/interior shaking ill look when its on the lift I was thinking maybe ignition problems?

i have the same issue with mine. i know it has a slight miss as well, and im hoping the new plugs and wires i just bought will solve that, as well as fixing my exhausts leak and getting new O2 sensors.

hell ya mine are new wires but i know they touch the headers.. so OTV wires for me now I think the thing is the MSD wires i have now arn't long enough for that **** so i gotta fork up $$$

i plan on zip tieing (sp) the **** out of mine

edit: when idling, i notice the revs drop slightly at the same time the motor shakes, which makes me even more certain the miss is causing it.

ya mine drops just alittle i mean like 50-100 rpms the tach barely moves and it so quick u dont really notice

Definitely sounds like you have a slight miss in there somewhere. I'd do wires first, then plugs and/or O2s.

I had the same problem when mine would warm up, turned out to be O2s

this is the second time iv done O2's did both then 6 months later (2,000 miles) i did them again under there warrenty..
