Default LT1 intake
Here is my question, I am getting a 58mm throttlebody for my car and i am not fond of the idea of porting my intake on my car. so i was think of buying another 96 intake and port it and get it powder coated red so:
What is involved in taking off the intake on my 96 Trans Am?
does coolant flow through the intake?
do i have to drain out all the coolant to take off my intake

No coolant is going to the intake. Just take off the fuel rail and disconnect vacuum hoses. I'm pretty sure it's that simple, maybe someone else can be more detailed.
