As for them with A4s, it's not like 1LE = race only lol Some people just can't drive a stick, or don't know how. So why make it so they can't shell out the extra $$$ for the 1LE package That'd be bad salesmanship!
For most cars that was the case.

Ls1 cars= auto standard equipment: manual= no cost option

c5 Corvettes were Auto standard and you had to pay to get the stick

I agree on every other car in existence

We don't have all the same ones, so many I have you don't, and you have I don't. Mainly when it gets to the end. That W code is W66 just for the record. I thought it was WS6 for quite awhile

heh I know. Looks like my seats MAY have been swapped in. I have AAA which is 4 way manual, yet I have 6 way, 4 way electric. Unless that's what AR9 is, since I don't know what "European Style" means lol Leather?

EDIT: NM 12I and 122 are color and leather.

Yes true but, the 04 A4 had a $1000 gas guzler tax on it
the 05-06 A4 had a $1300 gas guzler tax on it
so it was $300-$600 cheaper to get the M6

I'm using this page, has most everything. Doesn't give 1SZ, though, and another one I don't remember now. 6EJ and 7EJ either, but I'm pretty sure that's for the front L and R computer selected springs. (That's why I thought I had WS6, because my 91 had the same 4 corner computer selected springs)

http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/w...e_GM_RPO_codes

EDIT: Damnit ok now I'm confused lol AAA on that page is...
AAA: STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES

But on this page it's
http://www.marshu.com/ws6-firebird-c...codes-2000.php
AAA : 4-WAY MANUAL SEAT ADJUSTER

Oh and also -_-
http://www.lswon.com/2005/01/26/rpo-...ist-1993-2002/
AAA factory tint

"GM RPO Code 1SZ is basically a discounted option package." On a Vette forum.

The 1SZ is a sales package option that goes with the w66... the 6EJ component frnt left computer select suspension,,,the 7EJ is the right front...the 8TH is the LR and the 9TH is the RR. But I dont know how the computer can select springs, maybe shock firmness.

Well that helps explain the weight difference a bit.

No one knows which trans weighs more though?? Most old school folk that look at a T56 declare that its large for a manual trans.

T56 is bigger, a decent size bigger...set one next to a Muncie 21, you will see a difference.

Nono, Computer SELECTED. As in, at the factory, the computer selected 4. For the front they are equal lb rating down to probably a certain percentage of each other, same for the rear. Where as if you just cast 4 springs, and throw them in for econo boxes where performance doesn't matter. It's performance quality control.

Mine is classified a stripper model. I have no power options at all, no rear defrost, no power locks or windows, M6, no cruise. Basically all I have is a/c which was factory I believe.

Hey Formula350, do you have the same seats as mine? Unless I skipped it, did you find out that your seats might of been swapped? My friend thinks my seats came from an LS1, but I don't believe so. What does everyone think?

By the way, both seats are like this.
