Default Dyno Tuned

I got the car dyno tuned today. Overall, it wasn't anything special, but I definitely needed it. I was running very lean, who knows how long. Not sure what the A/F was at idle, but I know it was too much. I was getting around 14.5 at mid RPM and went down to 13.5's up top. Since my car was already leaned out, I lost some potential of more power by making it leaner.. granted it was rich. Desensitized knock yada yada.
Anyways, the converter wasn't locked. I don't care about dyno numbers, especially since it's a stalled auto. Maybe when I get time, I'll take it to the track to see a difference.

Before and after numbers. Blue is torque, red is hp... you all know.

243HP and 254TQ? o_0 That TQ is about 50 too low for a STOCK motor. HP is about 10 or so too low.

Well it's a motor rated at 275/300 at the flywheel stock. Add some stall slippage on a MUSTANG dyno--not bad IMHO. If you add the 20% back to wheel numbers, you get 288/308 at the flywheel. Who knows how close that really is but you get the idea.

So with headers, CAI, tune, he's making stock power? I bet I make more than that w/o headers

is it just me or does it look like that right rear wheel isn't moving?? optical illusion maybe.

your running 13s your making plenty more power than it's showing, dont let low numbers get you down. matter of fact, take it to the track with your dyno sheet and race for $100.

The speed of the back tire is syncing with the fps of the camera. I also agree that the dyno #'s are incorrect.

And you all don't think an unlocked converter on a mustang dyno doesn't make up for the low numbers?

your car is fine. a locked stall and mustang dyno will show significantly less power. dynos are for tuning, who cares about the numbers. that is a nice pick up in the hp/tq band as well.

That's what I was trying to say but no one was taking it.
