Car not working..... So here is the deal a while ago my car was starting to act wierd and i thought optispark or something so wanting to avoid paying alot of money i put in a msd cap and rotor myself, after doing that i learned the real problem was the fuel pump ive just got that installed now and the car still doesnt run... the car will turn over but wont start and backfires once in a while i think
is it possible i somehow messed up the timing putting in the msd cap and roter?
is it possible ive just got the wires crossed somewhere and the firing order is wrong(ive checked this a dozen times and am very sure its not the problem)
could it be a bad injector?
could it be something else?
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated

Usually even if you have a wire crossed, the car will still start.
Have you checked the fuel filter? Check the fuel line pressure to verify that the pump is working correctly. Once you know it's not a fuel issue, you can look into ignition.
Just a thought -- have you tried resetting the PCM? Probably won't fix it, but I know when I messed up flashing my PCM the car would turn over but not start. You never know...
