any one cut the y-pipe

i just got done a pacesetter lt install and i ran around open y-pipe well now im tryin to get the y-pipe on the cat back and it is being a bitch i took off the long pipe and i put it on the y-pipe but i cant get it on enough to put the muffler back on did any one have a similar sitution i need help

I had to cut 3/4 an inch off my I pipe coming off my gmmg because my jet hot Y was to long

i have the same headers and y-pipe. you have to cut alot off. pass that brace where the new y-pipe is. then i welded the two pieces together. i wouldnt cut the y-pipe cause theres only like 6 inches after the y.
