hello need some help plz hello i need some help here i have a 94 z28 auto. and i got a ticking noise in the motor bay and iam getting bad gas miles. iam trying to figure out what to do here. current mods are slp loudmouth no cats cold air intake free mods and custom tunning by dts in ohio. also is a shift kit needed when i have the shift points upped thanks for all help. also have no heat took ac out and lost heat
Is it getting hot under there? it could be a blown exhaust manifold gasket.

Use a piece of hose like stethoscope and listen around until you find the source of the ticking noise.
Also, look under the hood in the dark, see if you see any arcing.
Plug wires (especially cheap replacements) tend to arc over time.
