OutlawZ, and 97blkz, I think my motor is a similar setup to both of yours, if I remember correctly when I was posting up about it. And this motor here for sale is very impressive for an LT1 setup. I'm just hoping to hit 500 to the rear wheels through a manual tranny and moser 9" once i've got the oil leak fixed.

Outlaws motor is way nicer than mine, but I may have to work on that!

Lol, there are very few, if any, parts that I need to replace to make things nicer. The actual motor itself is just about some of the best of everything. The other stuff outside of it I probably could get some better stuff, or more. I just need to get my oil leak fixed, and then break it in, and see what she'll do on the dyno.

This was probably 3 years ago, it was some kid's mom's car. Got its *** drug by Fran on the spray from a dig. Think Fran was on slicks that night and the Viper was on street tires, it wasn't pretty at all. Basically covered the Viper out the hole and drug it. Viper was stock, no way in hell it was gonna make that kinda land up.

Common sense says wouldn't you want to break it in first, then hit the Dyno..
actually no break it in on the dyno, it may get a touch better but it is a matter of how the motor was built and with what parts, etc.... ie. ring package.

with those heads, and i would imagine the motor is not pump gas friendly, i am kinda surpised it didn't make more, but i guess with the proper fuel delivery it will make it.

Yea, that's true. I am still figuring out how I want to break mine in to seat the Rings good.

Merv, put 200 miles on it change the oil, and then beat the living **** out of it. Another way people break in their motor is put a few miles one (50 or so) and then take it to 4000 rpms while driving and then let it idle down, then 5, 6, etc.... then they consider it to be broken in.....

I would happen to be BAD BLUE's second owner. That car ripped while I had it. I'd like to know what is going on with it to.

I bought the car about 4months ago. I had it here in Chicago for about 2weeks then sent the car to Steven Faraday and Josh. LME redone the whole short block! Went with a bigger cam, and the new Trick Flow CNC 335 heads. Nothing was changed on the car till I bought it. (so i was told) I have a lot of plans with this car. There is alot of cleaing up I wanna do. Interior, wiring, different wheels, ect... I am going bring the whole car up to date! Goal is 8.8's. Hoping to get the car back this month. Did not relize how many people new about that car. So the car will have a new life here in the Windy City of Chicago!

My motor is about identical to Tony Shepherd's other than some different cam choices and some cosmetic stuff.... Mine is your basic single plane intake 227 AFR'd 383 mill..... ya know vacuum pump'd, accufab throttle bodied everyday ****...

Outlaws motor is way nicer than mine, but I may have to work on that!
heheheehh glad to see I can spend money that is not my own....
