LT1 valve float: what rpms?

Got a '96 Z28 SS and wonder what RPMs valve float begins to occur? Want to set the rev limit up a bit, but not too far. Tried searching the forum for "valve float" but it locked up on me twice.

Reving past 5800 on the stock cam is a waste so don't bother.

Stock for a '96 Camaro SS. Don't know the specs, sorry. 310 HP w/optional SLP exhaust, but no other engine mods that I know of, I'm owner #3.

Valve float would be different on each motor. It is caused by weak valve springs but a stock motor loses power after about 5800 give or take.
