Anyone know where I should set my ring gap on my new motor? Stock bottom end, and it will be seeing a 100-125 shot occasionally. I have heard go a little bigger than what the factory reccomends for nitrous/FI applications, but not sure if it matters that much with such a small shot.

I do agree that it never hurts to gap the rings wider for nitrous.
Any here have direct experience and success with adjusting the ring gap to the stock LT1 piston rings?
Guys, just remember you have to consider the ring material and size and the piston design so we should be careful on the gaps we quote. I think this is a stock Mahle LT1 piston and stock GM replacement Mahle ring set that comes pre-gapped to factory spec. Mahle and GM put the 2nd ring gap wider than the top ring (something like .016" top, .020" 2nd) so if you do widen the gap make sure to make the 2nd ring gap wider than the 1st ring.
