Anyone ever have flashbacks to when their car was stock and think, man this thing used to be a very smooth riding, very nice car?
Haha all the time! It used to be so nice to cruise in and drive anywhere, any time, any day of the week. It's still fun and definitely sweet, but a different kind from when it was bone stock.

I want one, but don't want the debt of a $30K car note on some thing I would want to mod. Wouldn't mind a note on a truck that I daily drive and leave alone but not on a car I'm going to want to mod. I may get one or a used C6, who knows

a used vette is not a bad idea.. im sure "all the kinks will be worked out" of the 427 z06 cars by then...

SS meant big block back in the day so I'd rather have a Z28, NO leather, thinking M6 and it has to be blue (please GM NOT that nbm color) . . . white stripes to match the '68 and some small mods . . . I want a nice driver
awesome! another PEPE in the LT group! I love mine, thought about selling her but I've already crossed into the darkside. I would just like a nice untouched everyday driver/sports car one day and if my girl gets one then that'd be good enough. I too like the new Challenger but think the Camaro has a sexy look/appeal, really fell for the car in TRANSFORMERS.

Not a bad plan Niel, I tell you what there will be a lot of nice ls cars for sale that will shift everything....LS will be like our old slow *** LT cars that everyone with ls's think so lowly of...but I'm gonna hang on to mine God willing...anyway I'm considering solid rocket boosters like they used on the old Hercules WWII for short takeoffs ...and stuff

We are planning on replacing the Wife's Red 95 Z38 with the SS when it comes out

The only trick is getting her to wait that long.

BTW I would bet exhaust CAI and H/C will find there way on to it in the first year Other then lowering it and headers it will go semi Un-touched after that.

I'll probably buy one and not mod it. I'm ******* deep to a 10 ft Indian in mods right now with my current cars. So yeah I do miss driving a stock car sometimes. I'm thinking I want M6 again so at most I'll put in a K&N panel filter. Maybe one day do a cam only since it should have bad *** heads already. It'd have to be outta warranty and I couldn't be outta money, lol.

I just pick stuff up that I hear from other people. That's not original for me at all. One of my friends used to say that. Impressed at the creativeness of my comment or the cars?

That 11.34 should easily be a lot lower soon. I've got that heavy 9" and nitrous ready shaft that's eating some HP but my main component that was eating me up was that unlocked 700r4 I was using. I had a crappy converter in it and I was still doing 1.53 60'. So with my new one I plan on knocking some time down on the 60'. Also my trap speed was low which I attribute to converter slippage. With the lockup 4l60e I'm now thinking a 10 should not be too hard. I was spraying a 175 shot on that but I am hoping I can now do a 11.34 n/a. It would be nice to do a 10 n/a but I have to realize I don't have the best heads and the cam really isn't all that big and I tuned it myself. Tuning can be done but I still don't have the best heads or a SR. If I ever have a problem where the heads have to come off, I'm sending them to Lloyd. I'm just not going to take them off for that right now. It's so damn hot and I don't have a job right now so hopefully I can make it to the track a couple times in Sept and Oct.

MTI made 420rwhp with just Kooks and a catted X on a new LS3 C6, LG made 480rwhp with a cam, full exhaust and stock tune. They are going to be sickness.

New Order:

LT1 = TPI

I am interested in the new camaro but it must have a black or dark gray version. Also, if/when they produce an SS version, I really hope they aren't as lame as the 4th gen SS's, where they mod the appearance and barely mess with the motor. Intake and exhaust are some of the easiest mods... gawd.. I mean, the LT1's were rated at like 285hp and the SS was 310'sh, right? I really hope they do the "SS" justice and give it some monster power compared to the Z/28 version.

Yawn, LS1...pshh LS3 now, quit living in the past! Crazy how stuff changes, I remember back in the 90s, guys made 400rwhp with their GTP ported LT1 heads and CC306s and thinking that was just incredible power. Basically if necessity is the mother of all inventions, thank god for power adders because their a necessity for is 23* folk. Like guns man, god didn't make every one equal, smith & wesson did. Jet up!
