SES light problem
SES light problem Me and a friend had just swapped out the A4 to a M6. The car is a 95 formula my question is that when the car turns on it shuts down by its self like as if their was not enough gas for the engine. The thing is that if i give it gas and let off of it constantly it stays on it seems to be missfireing but once the SES light comes on the missfire seems to go away then the car is at a steady but low rpm
no i havent reflashed to pcm do you think that could be the problem. i know that not all cars are the same but a friend of mine did the same thing with no problems. It just seems very weird that the car doesent missfire once the ses light comes on.
i forgot to mention that i checked fuel pressure changed fuel filter plugs wires coil ignition control module. I am kind of in a slump with money but i will reflash and see if that is the problem. Infinittebird where do you think i would be cheaper to get a reflash dealer or someone that should retune the computer. Did you experience the same problem or have you heard of this
