Default 75 psi of oil pressure "warm"

Hey guys my car just had the motor built when I bought it. The guy had a milan high pressure oil pump put in it. It had 75 psi of oil pressure warm at about 2800 rpms going down the highway. I thought after I got done putting some miles on it it would come down. It still only has about 700 or 800 miles on it but it is still holding that much oil pressure and I was going to see what yall thought about it.

Thanks

Mechanical oil pressure guage will do the trick. 60psi here cold and 50-55 warm using a mech OP guage in addition to the stk unit.

yup that seems a lil high but its better than being too low. Seems that the gauges are off on many cars. According to my gauge i've had 0 oil pressure for the passed 2k miles

the oil pressure guage in my truck (silverado 350) said 0psi and the guage dummy light came on so i thought it was just the guage. went a couple thousand miles... then POP went the engine... more specifically the 1 and 2 connecting rods.. haha.. lesson learned..

my camaro oil pressure runs pretty low once it warms up. id love it to run that high..

After recently installing a Melling 10 HV oil pump on my 151k engine after a blown head gasket, I now have just under 80 at cold idle and 35 to 50 at hot idle.

Ok well I was just wanting to check to make sure it wasn't going to rob all the oil from the bottom end. Thanks for the info guys.
