Electric waterpump
I like my CSR pump. It's going on 2 years with out one issue. Some guys believe it's better to leave the stock cam driven in on street cars because you know it's always going to be turning if the motors running. If the EWP went out you wouldnt know untill you started to heat the motor up.
What i want to do, and i'm just lacking the wiring knowledge, is wire a little LED bulb into the console so that if it stops working it'll light up. If anyone could figure that out...i'd be greatfull.

Based on the highlighted part I will say the stock pump is your choice.
If you want to truely INCREASE flow rather than decrease it like the popular electrics do you could put a $400 stewart inline in the radiator hose and leave the stocker in place. Only thing you would gain from it though would be the ability to cool the engine while it is turned off.
Just to restate, the electrics all move less water than the mechanical, the Stewart one I mentioned is just suitable for use in conjunction with a mechanical, sort of like a booster fuel pump works.
