Default LT1 true dual input needed...

I just sold my LS1 Z28 and am looking at getting a LT1 Camaro/Firebird. I had planned together a true dual setup for my LS1, but I needed to sell it because I have mortgage payments now and I couldn't afford both at the time. But now I am able to get another f-body (by saving a little bit here and there), but being able to afford a low cost LT1. I have my exhaust setup that I had planned to do to the LS1, so I was wondering if it would fab up underneath the LT1 body. Here is what the setup is...

LT headers (don't have yet)
Magnaflow 3" high flow cats (#59929)
Flowmaster 3" D-port h-pipe (#15933)
Flowmaster 3" Delta Force 1 chamber mufflers (#9430109)
Turndowns

jmm98LS1 inspired me to go with this setup for my LS1. But now that I'm stuck with it in my closet and I'm looking at getting an LT1, I might as well see if it will work on the underbody of an LT1 and put the parts to use. Any input is appreciated.

It is possible, i am running a single 40 series under mine, dumped before the rear axle... its up to you, it didnt bother me doing a bit of hammering to make it fit, but i dont know how you feel about smashing in the bottom of your car... Sounds great though! Ground clearance is definately an issue if you dont do the pounding

I'd highly recommend KOOKS headers for your car, fit nice, stainless and they'll work with the good parts you already have. Personally I like the Dynomax xipe & Dynomax race bullit style mufflers just because they look clean and tuck away nice around the tunnel Vs. a boxed style muffler.

I did TD's on mine and it's pretty low but I didn't have to smash the car. I am using Hooker LT's and Moroso spiral flow mufflers (similar to Dynomax Bullet).

Yeah I had a BMR torque relocation crossmember for A4 and an add-on BMR safety loop to work around. Also Denny's Nitrous Ready shaft and BMR torque arm. Worked out ok. Shop just kinda bent around it.

Thanks guys. When I get my LT1, I think I'm gonna go ahead and try and get it to work. I just wanted to see what everyone thought about the setup and if it would fit before I even tried.

i just got my duals done last friday, the only reason it took so long is due to the rear mount turbo set up i was planning but i ditched the idea.
i had 2.5" X-pipe,single chamber (race)flowmasters.i thought it would be loud but it has a very nice tone to it,at WOT it sings

sort of hard to see with my cell cam,of course i got some crap from the"you must use mandrel pipe for max performance crew" PFFFFTTT!! the set up works nicely, sounds great and no clearence issues
