Are my valve springs good enough?
- 209 / 214 112 LSA
- gross cam lift @ .050* - 0.314 intake / 0.327 exhaust
- valves are bigger - 2.02" intake / 1.60"
- supposedly have "performance 110lbs. valve springs" no idea what brand.. and have no other info there... I'm assuming thats obviously 110lbs seated pressure.
I currently have 1.5 stamped steel rockers and I'm thinking about switching to a self aligning 1.6RR. Keep in mind, I'm not planning on any major future power mods, and its my daily driver -- NOT a race car. Rev limit is set at 6000 and I typically stay under 3500 just driving around. So, I'm wondering if my valve springs are good enough for the increased lift or not.
That cam is really, really mild. Gut instinct says you won't have a problem, but if you want the peace of mind just pick up a set of the PAC 1218s (I think that's the P#, they're the old comp 918s).
