Autotap Scanner Hey guys I am new to the whole tuning thing and I have bought the Jet dst software. I need to buy a scanner and someone on here recomended Autotap a while back. I am kind of on a budget here and I was wondering does it tell you real time afr readings "the tech person for autotap did not even know what afr was"? If I buy autotap can I get around buying a wideband for now? Would jet and autotap be all I need to tune with?

There is no getting around a wideband. Autotap will tell you the readings of the narrowband O2 sensors, but you cannot tune with them.

Look for Autotap in the parts for sale section. You will also need the enhanced parameters, the default ones are useless.

datamaster is free for the first 20 logs. also you can get free scan which i think is totally free. i use both. datamaster has a nicer layout but freescan is okay. they both export to excel which is the important thing. however, datamaster logs transmission activity while freescan does not.
