Thats the same set up i have, I have been hearing rumors about the 918's having a couple of bad batches out there though. Get you a good set of hardened pushrods also. The swap will end up running you about $800 bucks new, but if you play your cards right i think you might be able to do it around $500. My CC306 might be for sale in a week or two!

the 94 LT1 has hardened pushrods from the factory, and mine are straight as an arrow and un clogged. so im gonna keep em.

im gonna try and spend around $400 in parts the rockers used and maybe the cam.

I have seen the stockers get bent a few times before. I found my TrickFlows for about 50 bucks used, but if you are comfortable with your stockers then stick with them. What rockers are you going to use? I found the roller tip 1.6 magnums work great. TPIS did a test a while back and the magnums were the only rocker arm they were not able to break. Just a little info for you.

It depends on how your car is performing and personal preference. How is the oil pressure and does it ever drop off under WOT? How many miles are on your car and has the oil been changed on a regular basis?

I replaced mine because someone told me to run Gunk MotorFlush through it and it ended up clogging the pick up. Another cheap mod you could do is replace the oil pump drive with a metal one. I went to autozone and got one from an 85 pick up with a 350 and it worked just fine.

sounds like mine when it was close to stock. I think you would be okay with that oil pump...but then again they are cheap. Take a good look at your cam bearings while you in there too...the stress from the stock water pump grooved mine a little.
