Weird Noise

Weird Noise I noticed lately (past week or so) my lt1 makes a weird noise usually most noticeable during start up. It's a whine almost sounds like a loud fuel pump under my hood. I know lt1s are noisy but this is worse than it normally is. It doesnt change pitch or anything when the rpms change its just a high whiney noise. I looked under the hood and I just cant specify where it is coming from. any ideas?
If it were belt wouldn't it change pitch as it turned faster? I had a truck once that needed an idler pulley (bearing bad) and when you sped it up, the pitch changed noticeably.

nope only when the car is running. I'm gonna take the belt off and see if it stops making the sound
