Exhaust Question I just got my headers and im trying to figure out finishing my exhaust. My initial idea was to fabb up some true duals but Im starting to turn my back to it. I was wonder the best way to get awsome performance and sound without breaking my bank. And if i decide to fabb true duals which muffler should I go for?
Well, the TSP duals are affordable, and there's a million people on here using them with great results. If you're like me, and wanted a real muffler on your duals and not a glorified straight pipe, then fabbing your own might be the best choice for you, as long as your decent with a mig welder. My home grown dumped true dual setup consisted of:
Summit universal 3" X pipe kit
(2) Magnaflow stainless mufflers
(3) good exhaust hangers
time, patience, and a little know-how with the welder
Overall the cost was under 300 bucks and I couldn't be happier with the sound, performance, and fit of it.
