Default What are BBK shortys worth???

They are used and a friend is asking 150$ with the y pipe, they are in great shape and hell, they even have the o2 still in them, also, what gains will they be worth over the stock manifolds? I have straight pipe all the way back and hope they will make the car sound a tic better too, allready sounds awsome.

Thanx,
Zane

Well new there $300-500 from what i see (I could be wrong) so it seems like a good deal if their in great shape but alot of people will say shorties are not worth it but it might be if its only $150....my opinion

You probably wont see much gains with the shorty's - maybe 10hp. I would save up and get lt's . Most people I know regret getting the shorty's regardless of what they paid for them and usualy end up just getting LT'S.

Shorties + straight pipe will most likely sound like ***. The good thing about the shorties is that with the stock motor, you won't lose as much low end as you do with the LT's. However, you'd still probably be better off waiting to get some LT's or at least mids. MAC makes some really good mid-length headers.
