National LTX Shootout
#341
It seems as if the majority would come if it were in St Louis or Memphis. Looks like only about three people would come from the west coast anyways. Taner made a suggestion that if we have this in Mempis or SL or Bowling Green we should all pitch in and give the guys from the west coast some gas money for the long haul. Ellis and Jason....etc would get a little kickback from the group for having to drive so far. How does that sound? It would still be somewhat centralized.

I just spent the whole weekend doing a car so I could afford a Madman Suspenion upgrade for this race.....now if I could even get Madman to hit me back. I know he is busy with the new GMHTP hit but I do need it if I want a chance to play. I am tired of going by the tree spinning and steering!
If it is to far I will probably fly into watch anyways. I my Business Pledged money for the event and I will stand by that either way
Now If I could stop on customer cars long enough to work on mine i did work on it last week. I painted the new bar with POR15....WHAT A MISTAKE!! Now I have to sand it back down and shot it again

Ellis! Your the man!
Sorry I havent kept up on this thread guys!
I 'will' be out at this event, wether I have a car or not.
I still have heard nothing from anyone, I am a little displeased that some people choose not to even respond to an email sent 2 weeks ago.
Anyway,
IF THIS EVENT HAPPENS, we will have to organize ourselfs with NO help from media etc...we can still offer sponsor positions and so on. Once the event is set we can then push for media and say "The largest LTx even is going to happen at XXX and XXX" would you like to partake in coverage?
We wont be able to rely on media for assitance at this point IMHO.
Tony.
