Default Motor is cutting out?

Well i noticed this while driving home today and noticed it like a few days back ( been outa town for a few days ). Well say im goin from 2K-3K in a rapid sort of way ( but not like trying to run a 9 second pass ). I can feel the car jolt slightly, as though maybe my opti isnt firing very strongly ( even possible? ). I just can tell that it doesnt go through the RPMS very smoothly, kinda hard to describe. any ideas guys? im thinking opti or maybe some fouled out expensive freakin AC delco plugs ( what NGK's do i need? ima have the car apart next week )
