>TPIS:
- ZZ9

In kuwait there're many LT1's stroker's but whene you ask him about the cam they refuse to say
i found some cam's but i don't know what's the best for stroker & H/C

Re: i am searching
those are all very small cams for the most part. the cam on the top im guessing is referring to the Comp Cams 306 cam which is by far the best cam above i would think, but you can go larger with a stroker motor and still be civil. I would call cam manufacturers and look into custom grinds or call some local sponser shops listed on the right and they can help you chose the cam that best suits your application. best of luck to you, and from the list you provided, i would chose the first comp cam

IMO, all those cams you listed were way to small. I would be thinkin terms of 236/236-555-580 on a 112lsa. Now thats a cam. . If our able to I would email or call thunderacing about them custome grinding you a cam for your stroker.

Yeah.. those're small but this's all we have in kuwait
The first comp cam, it's old cam & many used this cam in kuwait, i know this cam it's very well.
MEAN LT1, 236/236-555-580 on a 112lsa, this specs with 1.5 or 1.6 rockers, i think this cam it's just for stroker? can i find users for this cam?
I saw in your sig 224/236 cam, what's the spec of the cam?
This's cam's from Thunder Racing:
210 / 220, .500 /.510 114 LSA
220 / 230, .510 /.510 114 LSA
230 / 244, .510 /.540 112 LSA
218 / 224, .495 /.502 112 LSA
224 / 230, .502 /.510 112 LSA
230 / 236, .510 /.520 112 LSA
218 / 230, .495 /.510 114 LSA

did you plan on using 1.6 RR's? if so that first cam is right about .599 and .618 on the first cam. would need a fairly beefy valvetrain and even still you might have some premature wear on the lifters and or springs, especialy if they are XER lobes. look at what you want the car to do. if you want a daily driven car to get you to and from work with a few races in between, then go a little mild, but if its gonna be an all out race car or primarliy used for races with the occasional drive around town, go wild and ***** to the wall with the cam. are you using NOS, if so, might want to take a look at the duration that you want. is it an auto or stick, that may helop you decide on 112 or 114 LSA. but to be honest, that 248/254 cam looks like a fairly beefy cam for a 383. dont do what i did and get a smaller cam thinkig that you wont want more cause you will. when i first got it running, i loved it, but i soon wished i had gone A LOT bigger.

Re: i am searching
The car it's not for daily drive & i want the car without NOS.
The car it's for my friend he have two engines the old engine it's heads S2 2.02/1.6 , kit comp cam 510/540 , RR's comp, TRW piston 10.5 with rings, the new engine it's stroker Lunati 383ci without heads, maybe we want install the old heads S2 for the new engine!
What's the cam on H/C in rwhp? & the best for stroker's in rwhp?

with a good heads/cam setup, the cam should be anywhere between 220 duration and 230 for intake and 230-240 for exhaust, atleast thats what i would do, im sure others have different ideas. i dont really have any experiance with stroker motor setups so might would be best if somebody else answered that for you.
